Lorsque les ex-Small Faces Ronnie Lane et Steve Marriott se retrouvent enfin pour un nouveau projet musical en 1981, après maints déboires, dont une réunion ratée en 1976, ils enregistrent, parmi d'autres, une chanson gentiment antimilitariste, invitant la population à un spectale offert par l'Otan, les impôts et la TVA, qui consiste en la nucléarisation du monde sur fond de tango, à l'initiative du Pacte de Varsovie, auquel "our boys" sauront dûment répondre! (Are bound to pay them back).

Certes, comme actuellement, ce sont les Rouges qui attaquent! Ce petit côté propagandiste est toutefois compensé par la drôlerie de la métaphore théâtrale!

L'état lamentable de l'Otan de nos jours, impotent et ridiculisé par les Russes, me fait d'autant plus apprécier cette petite perle! Goûtez en particulier le solo de guitare du leader des Pirates,  Mick Green, fan de nos deux lascars!
